Queen Visits Perth City Centre

Queen Visits Perth City Centre today, Friday 6th Jul 2012 as part of her last day of Jubilee celebrations, rejoicing her 60 years on the throne. During the Queen’s visit toPerthCity centre she will be given the keys to the ‘FairCity’ and also visit the Black Watch Regimental Museum. The reason for this is that because the Queen Mother was colonel-in-chief of the Black Watch, which is known as the best Scottish regiment for 65 years.

Next on the Queen visit to Perth City Centre she will travel to Scone Palace where it is known that the Scottish Kings of old were crowned; the Queen’s visit here will end with a lunch. The Queen’s visit to Perth City Centre is a Royal tradition and has been well timed with the Royal Jubilee Celebrations. After lunch the Queen will then plant a tree and there will be a Royal procession.

Next Home Estate Agents are number one for property in Perthshire and are located on George Street. With many properties available in Perth City Centre we will be looking out for the Queen’s arrival.

We are currently selling a development down at Stanley Mills which is a unique complex of old water mills that have now been refurbished and turned into flats. The Prince of Wales was recently at Stanley Mills to mark 15 years of the Princess Regeneration Trust (PRT). The PRT regenerated the Mid and East Mills after they became derelict and are the two largest buildings.
