In the UK there are up to around 25 main property portals, but there are 2 main ones which drive most of the traffic. Rightmove and Zoopla. Now Rightmove boasts almost 70% of the UK’s traffic will use their portal first to find properties and I would have to agree. If you are not on Rightmove you might as well expect to lose out on potential leads to sell your home.
But an equally important fact reported by Zoopla, who also feed properties to Primelocation and S1 homes report that over 31% unique buyers visit their site who do not use Rightmove are a hugely important mix when it comes to marketing your property.
If your agents does not advertise on both of these portals, you may have just lost a major opportunity to market your property. This may result in two things, either no sale, or your agent constantly asking you to drop your price usually by £5000 to achieve a result. The reason we think they are asking you to change your price or why you believe you may need to change your price is that the Company you have chosen has their hands tied!
