Stanley Mills -
Stanley Mills was built in 1786 on a hairpin bend on the River Tay and is one of the best preserved historical building from the 18th Century industrial revolution. Established as a cotton mill by local merchants in the 1780's and textiles were produced at this mill for over 200 years until it closed its doors for good in 1989. It is located on the edge of the village of Stanley, which was originally built to provide accommodation for mill workers. The majority of the conservation work was completed in 2000 with North Range being completed within the last five years.
